Which Witch Film Festival

W.W is an independent film festival project created by MSc Film Curation students at the University of Glasgow. It aims to start with the identity symbol of the witch, so as to focus the audience's attention on the exploitation and injustice suffered by women through cultural and stereotypical misconceptions from ancient times to the present day, and to bring all audiences together to end the witch-hunt.

We have seen women, or not only women, targeted simply for being different or enshrined and stripped of their selves for being different. As a reflection of reality, cinema may reflect the changing of the 'witch'.
